Be sure to call or check the website of your city, township or county for specific pool fence regulations. The Peerless residential staff is also familiar with the expectations of those towns they work with regularly, so don’t hesitate to ask during your estimation appointment.

Basic expectations: All municipalities expect for pools to be completely surrounded with fencing. All gates should be self-closing and self-latching, and th latch should be out of the child’s reach.

Additional safety options: Alarms of various types are available for installation in your home to provide an extra layer awareness and safety. If your home is one of the walls of your pool enclosure, door leading to the pool area can be equipped with alarms. For more information and additional safety measures, speak with your Peerless project manager or pool contractor.
